Step One (课前自主学习: 我爱背美文)

(2007广东高考卷)上周,我们以“谁是你的偶像”为题,在2600名学生中进行了一次调查(survey)。以下是调查数据:

[写作内容]
根据以上数据,写一篇短文,包括以下内容:
1.调查时间、调查问题以及调查对象;

4.男女生在以伟人为偶像方面的异同;
5.你的偶像及理由。
Last week, we did a survey among 2,600 students on "Who Is Your Idol ".
The survey shows that half of the girls choose film and TV stars as their idols, while 48 percent of the boys are fond of sports stars. As the picture shows, “parents” ranks the second for the girls, but the fourth for the boys. However, 18 percent of the boys choose “great figures”, the same as that of the girls.
As for me, Thomas Edison is my idol, because his inventions have greatly changed our life.
图表类说明文一般分三段。第一段直接点明本图表所反映主题,即_______。一般直接给出作为行文参考。

Recently our school has made a survey among 100 students of senior one in our school.
From the survey, it can be seen that about 45 percent students go to school without breakfast while 35 percent students do not treat breakfast seriously. Only 20 percent students have enough breakfast with enough nutrition every morning. The reason lies in the following facts. Some students don’t get up early and can’t spare any time for breakfast. Some don’t have a good appetite and don’t feel like eating anything. Besides, some parents are so busy that they don’t have enough time to prepare breakfast for their children.
I hold the belief that it won’t do good for us students to go without breakfast. It’s not good for our health. Therefore, we should have enough nutritious food for our breakfast.
